Which are the best engine mounts for EK9 ??

I've got hardrace, can't really fault them but tbh I don't think they are much stiffer than oem. Suits me for road use but for track theres probably better options.

Spoon and Innovative are also options. Have a search, there's plenty of threads that discuss mounts.

Even tiger seal job on the stock mounts I've done before now.
Ghetto but it works...

with aftermarket mounts you will get a lot cabin vibration over stock.
that may be annoying to some people for dd...
i use hasports
you can choose between different rated bushings from 62A for street to full alluminum mounts for drag racing use.
mine are still ok( have them 5 years )but hasport offers replacement bushings and they have life time warranty too.

x2

I think all mounts will do the job as well as each other - Innovative, Hasport, Avid. In terms of actual product quality, for me Innovative takes this. For their billet products everything is deburred in the machining process whereas Hasport are de-burred by hand in places and look rough, and Avid, well... their billet barely looks like they've been made on a machine, real rough finish.

my innovative 62A rear mount has been destroyed in a few k miles, less than 5k. going for some 75A inserts to see how they hold up.

Was also thinking of changing mounts for something better. Was thinking of Hasport ones. Now I know they should do the job :)

I run spoon ones and do love them! Hasport will probably be a bit more vibrating

The best 'bang for your buck' option would be Energy Suspension motor mount inserts.

Tried and true. Cheap as chips.

They will do the same job as all the others listed, but at a fraction of the cost.

I had a set of 60A Innovative Mounts for strictly street use on my DC2 and they were shot after about 10.000 miles.
For the manufacturer to have honored my warranty I would have had to return the item to the USA for inspection and in-house repairs. Basically an insert replacement...

My rear mount bushing is dead and I have an opportunity to get Mugen mounts for DC2. Is the rear mount the same or different? Any other mount from DC2 which I could use? Thanks :nice:
