I've recently aquired some new calipers for my ek9. After a few basic measurements I can see I'll either need a different offset disc (calipers are radial mount, so do have a bit of flexibility) or I'll need some spacers of the wheels.
My problem is though - my car is currently in the body shop, so don't currently have access to it. I've got some spare ek9 front uprights, discs, wheels etc, so can make the brackets on the bench without the car, but I'm not sure how wide a spacer I can get away with on oem ek9 wheels.
Anybody got any ideas? I'll need at least 10mm, 15mm ideally for a little clearance. Ideally I'd have some some bells made to the right offset, but I've got a trackday on the 9th may, so on a bit of a short schedule. For that reason, I think I'd rather go with some spacers short term.
Second question - presuming I can run 15mm spacers on the front, where's the best place to buy them from?
Thanks
Sam
