What looms do I have to change in an ej9 to Put in a b16a ?

Hello as it says above Im converting a car .. This is my first build and I have a 98 ej9 it's not jap .. I have a b16a out of a 98 ek what will I have to change wire wise ? Please help :)
 
Ull need a obd2a b series engine loom, and a obd2a ecu to match odeally. Or use a differnt ecu and a conversion harness
 
What's the stry with my ignition barrel do I have to change that my 1.4 is immobilised .. ?
 
Yes all the dash looms are the same. Right immobiliser wise you can either use a

Import b16a ecu, all jdm ecus dont have immobilisers

Obd1 mapped ecu, also no immobiliser

Or you could probably use a uk b16 ek4 ecu, then get h tune to remive the immobiliser chip feom your d series and fit it to the uk b16 ecu, costs about 35 quid.
 
No prob what wires do I need to change so I was told that I had to change the dash .. What year cars would I find jdm ecus in ?
 
You just change the engine loom, then the dash loom connects to the engine loom, and the engine loom into the ecu

Thats the engine loom and engine that give you vtec. I.e you vtec loom will have more plugs then your ej9. Thats for the sensors that make vtec work ect.
