Have a B18c engine on throttle bodies with skunk2 pro stage 3 cams and the supporting bits, looking to rebuild the bottom end to suit now. Can anyone advise what CR I should be looking at to make the most of these cams whilst still using ordinary super unleaded?

These were the rod + piston packages I was looking at, if anyone had any experience or advice it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Id imagine your going to want a good 11.8-12.5-1 Cr on those. As you say pump gas may be abit limiting after that, no real experience with it but the theory would seem to suggest around that area.

Thanks for the replies fella's. The Wiseco pistons I was looking at are listed for 12.5:1 - 13.2:1, just unsure how our fuel holds up to that.

The high comp pistons are needed because the dynamic compression will be lower with the more aggressive cams in, so it may not actually be as bad as you'd think.
