Need some help guys, probably a stupid question but thought would ask anyway!

Basically fitting a adapter to my hose for gauge reading, hose is 40mm diameter and adapter is 40mm too.
Its a really tight fit, was wondering if its ment to be like this or i need a slightly bigger adapter 41-42mm.

Help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks in advance

Are you referring to the radiator hose on a ek9?

If so I think it should be a 32mm ID hose

Yes mate the radiator hose, however im using aftermarket mishimoto. Will get a pic up to make it clear what i mean.

Its extremelly tight if you can see what i mean, so i would imagine i need a 42mm adapter

Haha stupid me thanks for clearing that up! So my hose id is 32mm what diameter adapter do i need.
Really appreciate this,
Thanks pal

Well I guess 32mm and a pair of decent stainless jubilee clips should do the job! :)

Thats brilliant mate, can you suggest a good adapter and where to buy from.
Does this mean i have to cut my hose and join both ends together with the adapter inbetween?
Cheers

Yeah cut a bit of the hose out and use the adaptor to join the 2 pieces together
