hi guys

I got an email apparently from PayPal, below is what it said, It looked really legit and stuff, real logos and such.

When you click on the link it asks you to update your username and password and your security question.

I imediately thought this was very strange and I know PayPal will never ask for your details and then i noticed the hyperlinks at the bottom of the page although they looked real they don't work, I logged onto Paypal and there was no mention of the above, I contacted them and they said it was a scam.

hopefully we are all switched on cookies and will see it straight away, but your friends and family might not so please warn them.

If you go onto the paypal website it says not to respond to emails from paypal or tells you exactly what to expect

I knew it was a scam straight away, but if my mum read it she would fall for it just wanted to warn others.

Thanks for sharing.

I receive daily emails asking me to enter my HSBC account details or it will get cancelleed :nerv: and HSBC doesn't exist in my country lol

Yeah...sometimes these things are suprisingly realistic. I do worry about my folks falling for them, but they know to ask me.

Yeh I get HSBC, Paypal, Tax Rebate and host of other scams every day.
