VTEC from the engine bay

The fan kicks in with vtec... Wonder if that's just random or if they are supposed to do that?

Really cool, quite a bit of movement but sounds sweet:nice:
Never actually have seen this view before

Cool vid ally, might have to try this myself :nice:

Might be just from the incoming air possibly, but good shout - not sure

I did wonder that it may just be the air being forced through it just happens to be at the right amount at about the speed vtec crosses over, it just seemed a bit strange, think I'm going to try my go pro under the bonnet now:drive:

Edit: just watched again, the fan starts pretty slowly, so probably just air speed!

haha class some wack off it ya new mounts would be good haha or mabey it needs to sway

Hahahaha thats cool as man. Sounds really good. Get some solid engine mounts haha ;)

lol nice! didnt know they moved around so much

hope others will post their videos to compare mounts etc..

Looks good man! Give me a shot of your camera and we will try mines

Can't believe how much movement there was after watching it lol. Wanted to record longer but ran out of memory. I think the fan comes on itself ie vtec comes on and it heats up so needs a cool down. Sometimes on idle the fan comes on itself, not sure if that much wind can through the rad? You can see the manifold going a bit red but hardly noticeable. The sticky pad is still in the bay so might take more at different angles haha! Will defo get up rated mounts now and try and see the difference lol

Lol Harv, you must get one for your future 9. It's lighter than your generic CF bonnets ;)

The rad fan doesnt kick in when you hit vtec, fans dont work efficiently above 30 odd mph.
If your car is heating up that quickly in vtec you have a substandard cooling system.

Nice veiw though, the engine movement is the norm.
