Thanks guys. Hopefully it'll perform as expected - would be nice to do back to back comparisons, but I've no others to compare with!
 
Finally got it on the car tonight - had to skim the head flange as it had distorted slightly during welding. Couldn't find anybody local who'd do it for me, so decided to make a bloody great big belt sander on Sunday afternoon. A little overkill at 1200mm long, but had to go with the length of the belts we had lying about!

Few pics of it fitted then. Lost the bling factor of shiny stainless tubes, but needs must - too close to the bonnet for me to risk not wrapping it!



On to the rest of the system next!
 
Yeah I'll have it on the ramp tomorrow to make a start. Shouldn't take long, I've already made the major components like the silencers etc..

Nice one bud :bow: Can't wait to see how it looks and how it compares to aftermarket ones.
 
loving all the custom work going into this, its the only option really as there is no such thing as a free flowing quiet exhaust off the shelf, :nice:

Nah, it's going out the standard location, just hadn't got that far at that point!

I want that manifold , looks very good, somewhat similar to the plm v2 I have. I made 157.9whp with will @rdt with mine but I can make more with v power and colder plugs, plus my fuel pressure is a tad low and need a better intake and air box like your original design, soon as that's sorted I'll be going back for a remap.
