I thought I'd start a thread showing these two. The fiesta I've had for four years now and it's currently undergoing a major transformation (more on this later) and the ek9 I picked up last week as a fun toy to keep me entertained while the fiesta is in bits still.

The civic was almost perfect bodywork wise - only a couple of tiny, nearly invisible, dents and a little laquer peel on the roof. Mechanically, I've had to sort a couple of issues already. The two inner CV boots didn't survive the 6 hour drive home. I also had to replace the front ARB bushes and the battery, but that was no bother!
Worst bit was the Gaz coilovers that the previous owner fitted. They'd run the car pretty much sat on the deck, scraping all the underside in the process. One section of exhaust is nearly battered flat!

It's back on stock ek9 shocks now, and in my opinion, handling much better for it on the road.

Couple of pics then (I will add some more shortly)

Ride height before:

And after:

I've got a bit of a to-do list for it, I have a bit of a busy spell coming up with work, but once that's out the way I'll crack on with both cars again.

I'll be making a new exhaust for it, along with the air intake and then tuning by Will @ RDT

I'll follow this up with pics of the fiesta later on

This is/was my other car - back when it was my daily road car. Things have changed dramatically since then

Seen this over on MLR. Fiesta will be a beast!
Ek9's are well fun though! Miss mine terribly :(

New tyres turned up today, so will get them on in the morning.

Had it on the ramp this afternoon looking for the cause of a knock at the front that's been driving me mad!

most definitely cant go wrong with ADVAN Neova's:nice:

Just got back from my holidays - few packages waiting for me!
Got these to fit tomorrow:

Quality! The VSM looks stunning. That black splitter looks amazing. I really do like VSM's. Would probably have one if I didn't have my champ white one, lovely colour.

Thanks. Got a lot of work to do on this over the coming weeks. Got some bushes to collect from honda and fit in the morning. Gonna see about fitting the shocks tomorrow too, then set it up something like.
I'm just waiting on the last couple of bits to arrive from Burn's in the states, then I'll be starting on the header/exhaust and inlet, then off to RDT for tuning on S300.

 what bhp are you expecting ? :)

Rears took a little longer than I'd hoped - the bushes in the skunk2 bottom arms are 40mm wide, whereas the shock is 50mm wide, leaving a gap of 5mm a side that I wasn't happy with. Made some new bushes on the lathe to fix it all up solid

Here's what came today, a 4-1 double slip merge collector made for me by Burn's in America. The craftsmanship gone into this is stunning - not cheap by any stretch of the word, but well worth the money if you ask me. I'll have to make sure the rest of the system is up to par now!
