Visit to Seeker- New upstart Honda tuner

Hi everyone!

Time for more updates from the world of JDM. I paid a visit to Seeker garage last month. I used to go there often when I stayed in Tokyo and became good friends with Ryo Teraoka the owner. Seeker was relatively unknown a few years ago, but those in the know of the JDM Honda tuning scene might remember their AP1 S2000 and K-TECH engine tuned EG6 SiR II. Both red.

A view of the counter where Ryo san is sat. The other blokes are regular customers and most of the time we either talk about circuit times, food, girls and they usually ask me about Europe or Britain

Back to work. The Seeker S.A.S. (no relation to the British Army) full suspension coilovers. Seen in the video above on the FD2. Works very well at affordable prices.

Light weight wheel lug nuts and longer hubs for offset wheels.

Specially developed on the circuit. These brake pads are specifically designed to work well with Honda VTECs on the road and circuit.

Seeker staff close the shop on Sundays where they spend the day at various circuits to develop and test their products. Its amazing that with such limited manpower they could achieve so much in such a short time.

I must say that the wing looks very Mugen

A EK9 of another customer. K-TECH engine inside with a full carbon front bumper. When I was leaving the shop after closing I was at the back of this guy...and he kept me at 50m.

And now for the Civic Type R FD2.

Many new aero parts were developed for the FD2. Front bumper lip spoiler, carbon grille

Carbon door handles. Sweet!!

Aggressive front mask

Rear tail lamp covers

Full Carbon fibre bucket seats

Interior featuring the meter hood. This demo car is used by Ryo currently so its got some of his stuff in it.

Airbox and air cleaner

A K-TECH engine is done by a small engine garage of the same name. They use super light weight forged pistons and con rods with a sharply balanced crank and it churns out over 230bhp from 1.8 litres. Its crazy! Amongst the current Honda engine tuners right now it is one of the most feared.
