ok,i dont want to get a bad response on here from other users but i dont quite know where else to go to get my point out there....months ago now i ordered a rear windscreen decal for my ek9 off v-tec direct (mid april or may) and it got to a few weeks ago and i realised i still hadnt received it so wrote an email to andy stating this and asked for some info on if it was coming my way or still waiting to come into the country...but 3 weeks on i still havent heard anything,no email or call or anything...have others had this problem?i wouldnt mind if it was a tenner but £40 for a decal,i consider a lot of money. if you read this andy....i just want my decal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
try the accord forums, they deal alot more regularly on there and do quite a few group buys iirc.
 
What decal? Couldnt you just get one made?
Tried ringing Andy?
 
Call him, he doesn't reply to emails that often.
 
**** business man then if he cant be arsed getting in touch with clients. Very poor. Quick to take money, not so quick to help out.
 
Not at all, he doesn't sit on the computer all day but will answer the phone if it rings. he's a busy mechanic, not a salesman.
 
salesman or not, if you sell something you have made a business deal. if you cant hold up your end because of commitment or whatever then dont agree to make a deal. end of.

i agree, £40 is a lot of money especially for a decal. hope it gets sorted mate
 
Well if he doesnt sit on the computer all day because he's working, maybe he should put time aside at night to 'do business' its poor.
 
You're missing my point. He probably does not realise there is an issue, you need to call him in order to get a response.

Make sure you tell him he's a **** businessman when you call. ;)

Im not dealing with him, someone else is but i'd tell him once i'd get my stuff if i had an issue. Hell if we just didnt respond to people in our business we wouldnt be working. Anyway, ive made my point.

If you have a website, you should answer your emails, it's no good just not answering them and waiting for people to phone instead.
 
I think he could do with employing some more staff certainly, so far as I know it's only two guys there at present, predominantly working in the garage.

If he's running an online business he needs to respond to online emails - either that or scrap his email address if he doesn't read them
 
On the flipside, I think people these days see phoning as a last resort, personally (no offence to the OP), I wouldn't even think about complaining about a lack of communication on a public forum etc. until I had tried to ring the company.

Same applies with you mate, your totally right, nothing more annoying when you order something it takes weeks and weeks.. and they don't even give you a courtesy message even after you tried contacting. POOR.
 
ok,i dont wanna be giving people a bad name on here when its not necessary....i spoke to andy at snetterton at v-tec challenge and he seemed assured me that it would be with me sometime in the coming week and because it had taken so long he would throw in a seeker front windscreen strip,which i think is very decent of him...as yet i havent got either of them (lol) but lets just see...hopefully this week should bring them to my doorstep:)
