Hi people, a quick question, I'm going to underseal the car in the next week or so, I've been reading up on what to use and how to do it.

This is what I think I should do lol
1. Degrease and clean
2. Anti rust primer
3. Waxoyl
4. Underseal

I'm hoping that's all I need, any help or just confirmation on the procedure would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I have just done mine

First i cleaned everything up
Then used the dinitrol 2 step process

First lot of stuff reacts with any rust and fills all the nooks and crannies
Second lot of stuff gives you more of a hard wearing protection

Rust Prevention Waxes and Oils

I've checked both products already but still prefer the waxoyl, it seems to be the easiest and most flexible so can get into the small gaps

Spray waxoil with compressor if you can into the box sections of the chassis. You will need to take out the rubber plugs to get the rod inside. This stuff will sink into the cavities on the inside.
Then as above apply a good wax such as dinitrol on the outside of chassis. To be honest I just used applied waxoil on mine with a sponge, it comes out much better being less tacky, this prevent loads of salt and road **** sticking to it.
Obviously degrease prior to application.

Hope this helps

Oh and use stone chip on the arches or hammerite.
