Depends on what type of rotors and pads you use...

I went with :

Brembo plain rotors 60-70 each x2 140$
Hawks HP + pads 140$
TSX caliper 160$
Center ring 50$

Total close to 500$ Canadian dollar

I almost bought a Willwood kit that was 630 US +shipping.

But when it's time to replace rotors and pads you need
to order from Willwood (not 100% sure for pads).

And the rotors are not so cheap and you can't get them
quickly at the local autopart.

This will save me enought money to get a rear brake conversion :)

Let us know the results of fitting this brake setup when fitted:nice:

Some news here.

Brakes are now installed, everything seems to be running fine
after a really short test drive.

Really easy to fit.

I will need about 1mm of grinding on the caliper or wheel
spacer to fit my racing wheel.

The Honda/Acura wheel clear the caliper but it's a tight fit.

It's biggest thing that will fit under 15" wheels.

See what happen to stock rotors after a track day running on a
fast track :

Big cracks, running a quality plain rotor, imagine with drilled rotor

Will give more update after proper bedding of the pads.

At the local autopart store you can get :

TSX/Accord pads and caliper
+ VW corrado rotors

You can probably find the calipers at salvageyard...

The only thing missing would be the center ring to
get the rotor to center properly on the hub.
I don't know where the guy that sold me the kit got them.

But you get those made at a machineshop...

very nice !

any mods on the kNuckles?
these calipers are the same as the ep3 type r's calipers ?

can you please post the part number of the rotors if you can.

i really want a brake update and this looks :nice:

The knuckle is fully stock from a base model
civic with the small 9.5 inch rotor.

That was the point for my swap.

The caliper is bigger than Type R.
(Check the link in my first post)

I will check for part number...

Thank you very much

HoNdaDeViL you got pm.

888 : as for the rotor, just buy vw corrado rotors at the local
autoparts or the dealer, they don't require any mods.

gkawa : like I said, I don't know were the center ring is coming from.
Maybe it's custom made by the seller. The best I can do is to
give you the email of the seller.

Ok can you give me the e-mail thank you very much

have a nice evening

Nice kit!

I just don't get why some calipers, which are rebuilt by 3rd companies, are "Nissin" and some other are not. Could anyone confirm me why is it so? I mean, the calipers rebuilt by, let's just say "Cardone", were Nissin once, and then they just decided to shave the original brand?
I'm really confused, I need to get a set, but I don't konw if "Cardone" are the real deal.
Thanks.

Little review after more driving time.

My rear drum (I know I will upgrade soon) have been
adjusted, and now I can really tell the braking power is
awsome.

My brake balance is not good with the drum, I can feel
the front is too much for the back.

Next summer with rear disc and good pads, it should
really good.

As for the caliper, I guess rebuild or not, or whatever the brand
they still fit the TSX, that mean there are still good for the swap.
Mounting hole and pads fitting cant change.
