Tire size quiestion...

Hey!

So I'm planning on getting some new tires for the spring, I have narrowed it down to a few, and was wondering if I should go for a 195-55-15 tire or 205-50-15?

I know the 195 is the factory size for my em1, and also the factory size for a ctr, so I figure it must the best choice for a pretty much stock car? It's not a track car or anything, but I do want it to handle well, I already have koni shocks and gc's.


Also, I have been looking at Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec tires, anyone had any experience with these?

Or how about yokohama s-drive? These tires are pretty much the most I can affored.

195-55-15 or 195-50-15 will be fine. How wide are your wheels? They may not take 205 tyres. Have a look at Hankook RS2's there good tyres and cheap.

My wheels are the stock em1 wheels, I have 205-55-15 now and it's fine, but they are a bit big, and I'm not sure if it's necessary to have 205's with a stock b16.

I'm pretty sure that 195 would handle just as well as 205, but i would think that more tire on the ground could end up being a bit slower too ?

Stick with the 195 less drag on the tyres plus will handle the same just get some quality tyres.
