Throttle cable?

Hello

What throttle cable is everyone using on their k swaps? I've got a b18 one still in the shell I'm using, thought it would have been ok but it's ally really long.

I could swear on my old k20 eg I was using a b16 one so thought it would be the same!

Any help/info appreciated, cheers!
 
Depends what the b16 was from (ek or eg)

The b18 cables in the tegs are twice as long as one found on a b16 in a ek civic. The integras and eg's cable loops all way round the front of the engine and round to the throttle. The civic's one runs round the back so its like half the length.

If you were using a b series throttle cable on your last k swap and it was alot shorter evry chance it was from an ek4/9

Ahhh right, think you have hit the nail on the head for me there mate thanks for that. Must have been an ek one in the last one, whereas i have just left the EG one in the shell I'm using now.

I'll get myself an ek4/9 or an ep3 one. Didnt know they fitted Jack!

Got an ek4 one and its not perfect with the karcepts throttle cable bracket I've got to use so if I can't get it right ill take you up on the offer Iceman.
