hi , ppl , decided to share with you the right way to do it , cause i dont like the way that everybody does it ( the air box does not stand straight) so i decided to arrange a way to do it :

Start to cut some plastic :

Now the fabrication of the new front support :

Fabrication of the rear support:

Fixation on airbox:

Fixation on chassis:

Hope this helps some ppl , cause final result is alot more satisfatory that the ugly lateral fixation ...

i only take 2 hours to make this ....study included...

cheers ppl....

Looks good m8. Does it make a difference having the dc2 box over the standard box?

i think so , because many ppl do it , and is in fact a OEM short ram , with air feed ..i think is better than OEM..but i wait for another opinion from expert ones...

good job but is it only attached with 2 brackets on left side ? whats clearence from water bottle like and clearence of pipe from shock turret ?

yes i only use 2 brakets on left side cause it will hang good with just that two, but if you want you can use the other one but need some work with a long piece of metal.

"whats clearence from water bottle": 2 centimeters
"clearence of pipe from shock turret" : 1 centimeter

good write up, was considering this myself! now if i do im definately making the brakets as ive seen before some fitted on the piss and this looks much better :)

Whats happend with you AC?? i swear the pipe you have nearest the manifold used to run along the passenger side strut ?? or is it different on Pre-facelifts?
