Tegiwa what the hell?!?!?!

I placed an order with them on friday morning.
This order consisted of an Exedy stage 2 clutch, this was the best clutch they do and the minimum standard i am looking for. Also ordered Some Fuchs Titan Pro S Engine oil and other bits and bobs which all equated to an order over 500pounds.

I expected the goods to arrive on the following monday (today) so i especially booked a day off to get these parts installed. I Just received my parcel only to find the 350pounds Exedy clutch i order has been replaced with a 150pounds F1 Racing clutch. And The engine oil was also downgraded to Motul 8100. REALLY?????

Im just waiting on their e-mail at the moment as they do not have a contact telephone number! I am so unhappy as was expecting to get my K-Series engine swap completed today after a 3 month wait. But now its going to have to be delayed even more.

i usually "back" tegiwa as there are good at resolving solutions but id like to see the explanation for this
 
Did they not email you stating they down graded your stuff?? And they still charge you full £500.....

X2 on the explanation they have.
 
FFS why can't you people wait for companies to respond before publicly slating them?

I would like to try and resolve the issue today and get new parts sent out for tomorrow!

I have only been approached with a situation. A situation that has been un-biasedly expressed! i have never had any problems with Tegiwa and i think they're a great company.
That's why i am awaiting their response

I too have had good experiences with Tegiwa, in one case picking up some parts personally from their unit in Stone, and the chaps seemed genuine!

I would just like to see the explanation for this, just like the other couple of guys above^
 
OK so there was no slating, but it's still another Tegiwa 'issue' which people always seem to want to post about on forums rather than waiting for Tegiwa to respond and sort the matter out privately.

Perhaps if they had atleast contact number coupled with better communication with the buyer then people wouldn't keep "calling them out"

I understand resolving the issue privately, from a business perspective, would of been ideal. This would of happened if they had a Direct Telephone Number to their offices!
They have left me clueless as to why this has happened and i have nothing to do now except wait for their e-mail reply!

I didn't know about that, does make disputing purchases a little tricky I agree.
 
OK i managed to source a telephone number from their Facebook Info page. (01782334440) for future reference.

TEGIWA LOVERS LOOK AWAY.
And their response was simply, that shouldn't of happened. They didn't sound too bothered about it, come to think of it i dont even think they apologised!
Well as expected they are sending the correct parts out today, i really appreciate that!
But in turn i have to stay in this afternoon for a courier to pick-up the redundant items!! :(
No sort of compensation was offered to me untill i asked (i didn't want to). He replied there was nothing he can do except throw in some Tegiwa Reservoir Socks...

I'm Sorry Tegiwa but today i have witnessed some unprofessional salesmanship. I hope this will improve in the near future and i hope this thread has aided in its progression.
 
tbh that seems a pretty good result.

you get your parts (sent asap) with a free goodies. what more do you want?

I should really delete what i just said, im just angry with the inconvenience they have caused. and the fact they sounded like they couldn't give two shats about what happened! Made it seem like they get it alot!
I know its only a day late but to me its a whole week i'll have to wait now
 
these things happen, think about how much traffic these guys get. Plus they have just moved buildings so they must be going mental

I just had a fuel pump stolen from my drive way after the courier left it on my porch and the bastard was caught on CCTV and later arrested as he was in a rental car. Police cant do anything about it as he has a witness stating that he was at work. Now thats a reason to be angry lol

Yeah i totally understand! I was just unlucky!
I havent had much luck with my k-swap parts in general!
I ordered some Hybrid Racing parts from the US and had them sent to a relative. He forwarded the parts to me via USPS Priority service and they managed to send the parcel to Brazil. Which then took stressful 2 Months to arrive!
