Teeky's MB6 VTI-S Build Thread *** PIC HEAVY ***

Got it booked in at STG performance exhausts in Wakefield with Shane! Lovely chap he is, and very talented at what he does.

The Mongoose Catback was pretty quiet and very sensible lol, had a nice deep done to it.

Anyways I got Shane to put the manifold on and make me a custom decat section, he made me a 2.5" decat section using the flange I got him, along with the OEM exhaust manifold gasket and OEM spring bolts

Heres what it looked like

It sounded alot more throaty, and had just a tiny bit of rasp to it!

VTEC crossover was louder too, it was still fairly quiet, but on VTEC it sounded perfect, backfired and popped and banged like no man's business.

Didn't even pay much too :)):))

Only downside is the system is 2.25" , hence the Stepdown In the decat. May upgrade the system in the future, who knows.

I stumbled upon this little bundle on Facebook lol...

Personal Neo Grinta 330mm Leather steering wheel

NRG DC2/EG Slim boss

NRG Quick release 2.5

All of them have done less than 400 miles, and I got them at a pretty decent price.

Only reason I got another Steering wheel is because the Yellow on the OMP wheel wouldn't go with anything in the MB, but the Black with red stitching would go well with the Recaros :cool:

Fitted everything, all that's left is to wire up the horn.

And for the airbag/srs light, I just did the Airbag bulb Delete mod :lol::lol::lol::lol:

It felt amazing! I thought the OMP wheel was nice until I felt the Personal, highly recommend this steering wheel :wow:

Also I dug out my Skunk2 Neo Chrome gearknob that I had in the Jordan, the OEM VTIS one feels weird lol

Got a good deal on this Skunk2 AlphaRad and 12" slimline fan

So I pulled a few strings lol, and I managed to get one sent to me for free!! :nice:

Needs a little clean, might try using some metal polish on it to get all shiny again lol

Now that I had the steering wheel set up on point, I felt that the OEM shifter was Sh!t and needed a upgrade, i was about to get a Buddyclub short shifter, but everyone was bigging up the OEM DC2 Dual bend shifter.

I had the OEM EK9 Shifter in the Jordan with M factory poly bushes and it felt pretty good.

I did some research and found out Skunk2 do a Dual bend short shifter too, and it comes with a spherical bearing.

Got one at a very good price!

I'll give it a little clean before I get it on!

But I cannot wait to get this on!

I found this Skunk2 Pro series intake manifold for a B18C4 at a very very good price lol

I went straight away after work with my mate and got it!

Prefer the Skunk2 items over Blox all day.

Needs a little clean, but I might even give it a lick of paint, let's see.

Gave the car another wash!

It got dark really quick, however I did manage to get some B R A Z Z E R Z shots :lol::lol::lol:

So this happend today, had the car booked in for seat rails today :))

DC2 Recaros in a MB6, only a couple of people have done it and they've both gone about different ways of doing it.

The drivers seat was made as low as possible, because I'm 6ft3" lol and I wanted the lowest driving position

Here's a pic of the custom seat rails for my MB6 to mount the DC2 Recaros ...

FB_IMG_1553933877775.jpg

And this is when I picked the car up, again it was dark lol.

I need to order a Drivers side bolster from Capital Seating, as it's Bugging me.

I've seen alot worse, just being nitty gritty with the car.

But the whole driving experience has changed!

Feels like a completely different car!

Looks and feels the part! Well and truly over the moon!

Now I've got to do something about the rear seats and door cards!

Right so the parts started rolling in!

Alot of them had been ordered a month or 2 ago, but Tegiwa & H Tune took there time lol

Firstly I got this AEM adjustable Fuel Pressure regulator from a lad on FB, It's brand new never been used, box has seen better days tho

Engine bay should look well with all the shiny bits lol

Bought some BLOX CNC aluminium shifter bushings

Heard alot of good things about these

Should have a solid shifter set up once I've got them on along with my Skunk2 Dual bend short shifter

FB_IMG_1553943804296.jpg

Second batch from Tegiwa!

Some of the stuff came a few days later like the oil funnel, the Skunk2 stuff came after a month or so...

Another screenshot of the comfort email, as I CBA typing all the things and part numbers lol
