swap b16b engine

Hello...
just register.. need some info from you guys. I've been driving EJ9 with B16a. i want to swap my engine to B16b. can i swap only the engine? intake manifold, extractor and gear box use back B16a. is it possible??
 
custom made 1-4-2. i think the diameter is 2.23 inch. but my b16a gear box don't have lsd. can b16b run with it?

Yes, you can run a b16b without it, but you should get one, it's a must have :nice:
 
sorry....another word for extractor is exhaust manifold. Look at your picture...very nice engine. is it b16b or b18c? what type is your exhaust manifold?any mods that you have made???
 
How much money do you want to spend on a header? depending on this we can suggest you one, 4-2-1 is use full when running 1.6cc honda engines.

oh ok, mine is a b16b, the pic is an edelbrock header which i had modified to 2.5" for the collector, the car is now turbocharged. here is a list of parts:

thanks bro for the info. at my place its very hard to find good header on the shelf. need to order first. since i have a tight budget i'll go on custom. anyway, we are you staying?

yup. previous owner put 4-1 header. but i've already change it to 1-4-2. good for low torque. my car is white with black hood(not cf). 4 door.

oops...mistyping. 4-2-1 is the correct one. california?..oic...

do you work? or still studying? here in my country is very hard to mod our ride. you really need alot of money to achieve that dream car. for example here to get a 2nd hand header Spoon is around US dollar 350. so need alot of time to save the money. but anyway...it doesn't matter. i will mod my car. hope in future i could get some help from you guys on technical side.
