Anyone running an ek, ej hatch with 15 x 7's and has a 'stanced' fitment? Without having to roll my arches i was wondering with some camber and spaces i could get a nice fitment? Any pictures would be helpful!
Cheers :)

15x7 isn't exactly hard on a civic tbh that's what most probably run. If you want to go down the stance route your probably best going for 8j wide or more.

But this isn't the best forum to be looking for stance cars. Most functionality over how it looks on here. :nice:

You'd need narrow tyres to make it work, otherwise I was just going to say everything Logan has already said.

Yeah i guess so, i already have 15x7 and was just seeing how i could get the best look with what i already have, cheers for the input though :)

Oifovo is spot on tbh lol
If your skint and can't afford wheels you could try some spacers to push the wheels further out.
Depends on your offsets tbh, I've got 15x7 et31 iirc, and that did need a minor arch pull.
That was before the previous owner put camber arms onit.
I've now got it at -3degrees camber and with a 5mm spacer and still no rubbing.

As already said, wouldn't expect too much help on here. We are mainly track guys so almost polar opposite to the stance "scene"

Go for 16's if you want stanced, looks so much better with skinny tires.
You'll never get the right look with 15's, unless you go really really low (and 16's will still look better).

A friend his car, really great example without overdoing it imo: http://www.wanganwarriors.com/rather-clean-civic/
16x8 +15 offset, looks stanced but no retarded camber needed. With 15's you'd have to go even lower to make it work and you'll just destroy the car.

Well i'm running a 15 x 7 offset 40 and tyres 185/45/15 which allows for minor stretch, with about -3 degree of camber and lowered to the top of the tyre. i had it lower but raised it due to practicality, but now i can space the wheels without rubbing, hopefully haha. I like having 15's but just wanted a better fitment.

Wow tiny tyre! The wheels must look alittle lost in the arch?
You've got loads if room for spacers mate.
Your like 14mm more narrow than I am with te same camber angle and mines a usable track car

you reckon i could nicely get a 10mm spacer in to push them out a bit then? not keen on the tucked look, but like my camber haha

Yeah easy with only slight arch pull(maybe get away without) Only issue with that is the threads left on the wheel studs may not be enough to safely hold the wheel onto the car.
You then need extended studs which is costing you more again.

Yeah i know, rate ball ache basically haha. I'll just try and get studs included with the spacers themselves which i have seen. Although need hub centric to be safest.

Tbh if that's your car in your avatar it looks nice as it is.
Abit low for me, esp at the back but I quite like it.

Yeah thats mine :) cheers man! I went through your build thread and i'm impressed i must say haha. I always liked the stanced look which is what i'm going for however i would love some extra power

Yeah. Not got many pictures of the wheels I'm talking about.
They are my track wheels so only pictures I've got are on the breakdown truck lol
