Spoon Twinblock Vs. Monoblock

I need to remove the brackets on the stock pads to fit them. I bought the whole set a while ago when I was planning a track car. But since then, I've made a U-turn and went back to Street tune. Oh wells...:p

Another tip for you current or future Spoon caliper owners.

Be sure you apply liberally, copper anti-seize, to the bridge bolt and inside of the pins. If these seize like they did on mine due to weathering/extreme temperature fluctuation - they will snap if you try and remove them. They were a super pain in the ass to remove.

I replaced them with Gr.8 fasteners... which is why you see one of the bolts on my picture on each caliper darker (and rustier) than the stock silver ones.

Hi dude..
I have a problem when instal spoon monoblock for my ek9..
After done installation.I found brake is not good enough on griping. compare to stock brake ek9..
Did I need changed my master pump.?
My former already did best adjust on caliper.. n brake system but still not good.
Kindly advice if I need changed or modified anything else to get complete gripping..

monoblock have less piston area than oem ek9 calipers, you probably see hard pedal feel and less first brake attack than you´re oem calipers.

If you put 300mm disc you must have the same brake feeling but with same hard pedal

uh hmm... these are my twin blocks... :D with SPOON rotors and pads.
