Lo all

A simple one i hope.

Im looking at replacing my spark plugs soon, as the current ones im guessing have never bene chnaged since the engine was built 6-7 years ago.

However im missing the plastic side cover that usualy has what spark plug code to use, and the NGK web site isnt a lot of use for the b16b :(

Any help on what plugs you lot are running?

Thanks

this is what i put in £80 inc vat from honda  ,but there supposed to last 30000 miles !

just take that part no to a local motor factor who should be able to source exact same ngk plug without honda box for about 50-75% of price

stock plugs are good for stock/stockish engine, as power levels increase so does heat so better plug is more beneficial

Guys can I check that code? I was lucky enough to get an original EK9 owners manual with mine, it's mostly in Japanese but you can clearly see the code NGK PFR7G-11, or Denso PK22PR-L11.

Go with the iridium plugs they give a much better stable spark, from my own experience you will defenty get better throttle response compared to standard plugs you can purchase them for your ek9? or other ek civics at www.newerparts.com

i totaly agree!! an run a higher octane fuel if possible if your already not :nice:

hey guys I need to change my plugs, do you recommend me the OEM ones or the iridium ones ? how much do they retail? thanks!

Go for the NGK Iridium IXtreme Performance Spark Plugs they give better throttle response. they retail at $108 and can be purchased at www.neweraparts.com
