I was doing the morning flick through to see whats happening.

someone joined and must of commented on about 20 different threads. Probably rubbish answers aswell ( i cba to check)

Over on Civiclife they do a 10post a day limit (or less) till they reach the 250 post to allow them rights to sell.

i think we would benefit from that to

totally agree,it has worked well on CL..it gets abit annoying when they just post pointless crap on everything they possibly can
 
Sound like a good idea , I am normally a man of few works but i have notice there was a few recently that look as if it was just post counting.

Yea that tommys2000 did 10 posts in 9 mins and not one of them were in anyway usefull

As bad as it may sound, Iv been a culprit for the last few weeks of trying to get me posts up on civic life, Because i used ek9.org alot more i hardly post on CL but i wana be able to sell on there :(

I dont post full on rubbish like but 250 posts is a pain in the arse haha :p

Just kidding. Dose sound like a good idea though. You do see a lot of one word comments that are obviously just to reach 250. Not that i have 250 yet. I've been floating round the 100's for months now :/
 
What about members that have been on here for a few years but don't have a post count over 250? I joined here in December 2008 and have posted only 132 times but none of my posts have been crap. They have either been asking questions or answering other members questions. So obviously im not a spammer and there are probably other genuine guys like me on here. Would that stop someone like me putting up something for sale?

Unfortunately yes :( i see your point and completely understand, im in the same boat on CL been on there for a well over a year now, post constructive comments and advice yet still carnt sell on there, and i swear the admins delete people comments ect for fun

Very similar to vtec-k, he is posting 'welcome' on almost every new user post, then on photos posting two word compliments. Also when someone answers a question he will answer it after repeating what has been said, he has never given any new or necessary information.
