Still lots of bits missing and other bits still need lining up/tightening but getting there... not too far from tuning now. Ongoing build is here...

Make sure you keep that oil line away from the manifold mate (tie it down if you have to).
 
Cracking car mate I've been following your build closely and looking forward to it coming together now :)

I'd like something around the 300-320 bhp mark to keep the car usable and fun on track... saying that the turbo is rated for a bit more and the forged engine can happily take it so who knows... might have a sneaky second map. :nice:

Looks awesome mate. I'm looking to buy this kit for my ek9. Are you going to be running standard sleeves?
 
Is that turbo not rated 200-325bhp? That's what it says on the go-autoworks website.

Yep standard sleeves for my power requirements.

I didn't go with the base turbo; chose the custom T3/T40B option after speaking with Greg @ Autoworks about my requirements. :win:
 
Aw I see, rated to 400bhp. Think I'm going to go with the garrett GT28 journal bearing turbo with my kit and 3 inch down pipe. let me know if you come across any problems with the kit.
