Just want to know if anyone is running these in a B16b. Seen some people say the piston to valve clearance is okay and some say it’s not. Any info would be great.

i had pro 2 but they worn off after 1 year about 15k klms , i searched that the rocker c hardness of skunk is about 51 :/

I had them in a B18C with a slight head skim and they were fine if that helps...

Cheers! Did you use a standard gasket and what were the gains like? Where they much noticeable?

yeah oem gasket , with skunk 2 cam gears , i had about 224 bhp with oem injectors and about 9400 real rpm, wouldnt buy them again , i m searching for toda , due to quality

Im looking at using the same Tuner 2 Skunk2 cams myself come rebuild time next winter in my B16B. t3gav and firebass (na5hy if you got them), any issues with them? What was your setup head wise? Stage 2 cams, which valve springs etc did you you use?

Also for those that have used them, thoughts on performance? My car is used for track days, so Im concerned with a good power band, not just peak power. How do these feel mid range, and did they loose power for you down low?

well i had the pro setup , i didnt like the mid range , what i figured it was only for drag use , cz this is what i wanted though cz i was drag then, but when i was cruising it was a dead car goin in highway, my setup then in the head was supertech springs and wider valves plus skunk2 cam gears, oem clearance and 13:0 piston, the worst think was that those cams they wore off very fast , i just strongly thing that this is cams is for turbo drag car, i was NA ,

Do you know which pro series it was? What did the dyno look like?
I have heard the pro series ware fast. The tuners seem to be a bit more user friendly.

i had the pro 2 , well what i noticed with the pro and the tuners, becuase the pro has big lobe , when it kicks in the vtec u wont understand it a lot , the step i mean, with the tuners the lobes are normal , and the step in vtec is noticeable. i would prefer tuners to run normal for daily cz the pro its very noisyu cant cruise, and the vtec is noticeble, i saw that the vtec lobes in pro and tuners are almost the same in the stages of each series, so after all the power comes from the vtec, why to torture the car with the pro series in the low rpm , leave it silenced in low and get the same power with tuners , but its only my opinion, but i insist the biggest dissadvantage with the skunk and with some more cams is that they wear off fast

Car ran class with them in especially in the high revs. Had skunk2 valve springs and titanium retainers. Cams were set at 0 degrees. From what I’ve learned with them the engine needs a slight more compression as it goes into a bit of a flat spot once it hits vtec, but as the revs get higher it starts to pull hard. I dynoed 200bhp from the engine. Mapped by j.cal

I've read somewhere on here that you need 11.8:1 to 12.0:1 CR for S2T2 cams.

I'm going to be using them on a B18 build but going to use wiesco forged pistons. If your planning to raise rpm, then you probably need to upgrade your PCT pistons aswell.

Just my opinion.
