Simple Rules for the WTB forum

What are the rules for wanting a swap/px please?
I am an active member and I am interested in getting some new wheels but want to add my current wheels as part of the deal is this ok to add into the wtb advert?
Thanks.

Yes, since you're not exactly selling you're doing a exchange.

Exactly had to post crap to get post count up!

in relation to this as some members will have noticed, some new users are posting in alot of 'new member threads' to put there post count up. To me they are doing so as its the easiest way to put the post counts up. (clogs up the forum in away as some threads are very old). One new member even said he done this as he wanted to put up a wanted thread. So since fatbeerboy has his post counts reset, should the others not have as well??

I was for a bad guy when I reported a new member who bumped over 20 newbie posts in the space of 40 minutes. The problem is, no regulations will save people from their own stupidity and naivety. People just need to take responsibility for their own actions and decide who is trust worthy and who is not. The recent case of the chap who got conned buying from someone with 12 posts is a prime example. Recently I sent a fair amount of money to a fellow member - not via paypal, just a simple bank transfer - and I have no worries I will not get what I paid for, because he's a well known and respected member, I spoke to him over the phone prior to sealing the deal and everything just simply checked out. Needles to say I would not do so in case of someone who joined 2 days ago and reached 10 posts by saying ''Welcome'' and ''Nice wheels dude''.

So for the record, would I be able to register interest to buy items as a new member (rather than sell them) or is that also restricted by the 250 post rule? I'm fine with it either way, but I would like to have it confirmed.
