Should I bother trying to fix this...

Hi all, first a bit of spiel:

1994 Civic DX Hatchback

- new tyres, wet weather, under steered on roundabout, front end shunt into central reservation (nobody else involved fortunately!)
- 6 months MoT left, last one passed with a few advisories (minor stuff)
- 108k miles on it

The bumper split in half on impact but I salvaged what I could and managed to bodge it back together ok. Problem is the lights point downward, I'm in two minds whether to just scrap it and get something else to tide me over, what do you think? The rest of the car is fine including the bonnet and wings, I think it's just the front (fender?) that is bent, no other structural damage as far as I can tell, still drives perfectly.

Thanks for the reply. There isn't really much to show but I will try..

you'd see whats bend/damaged with the front bumper off. the front frame is probably bent, which is pulling your lights inwards.

also looks like your bumper isn't sitting right aswell.. That side repeater looks to be sitting ok but the bumper has dropped away from it.

As Elchunk said you'll have to get the front bumper off to investigate further :D

is the light the otherside the same ? Or just drivers side ?

Doesn't look like any serious damage bad said whip the bumper off and see what's what.

its probably the little bracket behind the bumper the lights held on by 10mm nut to that bracket, its week the light should just pull up

By the looks of things think its just the bottom bold for the headlight has moved or cracked, won't really find out unless you take the bumper and lights out as everyone else has stated

Thanks all, I'll give it another bash this weekend if the weather is good. :)
