Sand on bodywork

Neighbours are getting their house roughcasted and there's tiny bits of sand that have stuck to a few panels on my ek.

Used some bug and tar remover on It yesterday and it worked on most of the bodywork, bonnet still has loads though! Are there any easier ways to get this off as I'm sure over time it'll ruin the paint?

clay if that doesnt work buff and worse case wet sand then buff.
