I had many deals in my life (probably more than 500 in total international sales and purchases with absolutely 100% positive feedback and experience), I never had problems like this and never had deals with such persons like Weasel. Nightmare.
 
You will never prove it legally,
No proof said parts are from said box.
You paid as a gift.
You can't Prove anything, give up. Take the parts, learn for your mistake. :)
Personally I would never buy a second hand gearbox for this exact reason.
 
You know, if Weasel is not going to send me the replacement parts, I have no other selection.
 
Weasel refuses to send me the replacement parts he promised before. At first he said he will send brand new synchros and good condition sleeves to replace the damaged parts. Later he changed his mind, sent photos of used synchros and sleeves which he said he will send me. And finaly he changed his mind and refused to communicate or to send any replacement parts (even those used ones), refused to take gearbox back and refund money, etc.

For the last time STOP LYING!!!!!

I firstly thought i had a set of nearly new synchro's in good condition but when i checked, the parts I had were used but in good condition. I never at any stage offered to buy you brand new parts.
I sourced parts that were in good condition and posted pictures as I told you I would.
As I posted earlier in the thread more than once, I will send them to you on condition that;
A. you stop lying
B. you withdraw your threats of violence
C. you stop deforming my reputation and character.

Since you have not done any of these things, I have withdrawn my offer.
If you want to continue on down this path, get a solicitor to represent you.

I will not speak to you again unless it is through your legal representative.

I haven't started yet to deform your reputation, Weasel. We just trying to discuss and sort this question in this thread, ONLY IN THIS THREAD! The gearbox is laying without use now, so I need to do something with it. If you send me these parts, we will assemble it and I will try to sell it and to get as much my money back as possible.

There is no bussiness for me to advertise your activity or to deform your reputation. So if you are sending these parts, so send them. And we will close this question and disccusions.

If I am not clear enough, so please ask and I will try to write in different words.

P. S. Sorry for my bad English, but the sentences are getting too difficult to express everything what I want to say and to do this without mistakes.
P. S. S. I want to end this question, even with my loss of money, because those some hundred eur is not worth time and effort.

I don't want't to speak to you too. I just want to get my money back and refund your gearbox back to you.

Ye ye, but Weasel is not giving/sending the replacement parts? I agreed already to learn from my mistake and agreed to Weasels conditions :) but who will teach Weasel? What will be his lesson?

sorry to say but i will still buy from weasel, he has been a great forum member for many years and over those 5 years this is the first complaint ive seen about him
 
That's what I thought when I bought from him. I've trusted him 100% at the time I read description and made payment. But you can see what situation is atm and how things are going.

To be fair, he did describe the box as being perfect, and when split down
it certainly was far from that. He should be entitled to the parts/or money back - whether he paid via gift or not. I would out of common decency.
 
My mistake that I never thought about such situation could happen. Maybe I trusted Weasel reputation as an old forum member, I've seen his for sale threads before with no complaints, I've seen gearboxes sold which were cheaper, much cheaper. That's why I decided to take this one, as I had no doubt that this will be absolutely perfect gearbox (as it was described), because my first idea was that such guy must have assembled the best gearbox for himself from all the gearboxes he had.

Bad move Weasel. You should have honored your end and be done with the entire issue. You are just dragging this whole thing out with this withdrawing your "offer" crap. Hell, your offer was void prior to shipping this to the buyer buddy!
 
@wazer, the box was perfect. The parts pictured did not come out of the box i sold.
@tama666, the only bad move i made was selling to this guy in the first place. Put yourself in my position, if theres lies being told about you, phyical threats being issued against you and your reputation being tarnished on more than 1 site, youd feel pretty fcuking agrieved of the situation and be justified in demanding that these things be withdrawn before any replacements are sent.
Since this guy is unwilling to cooperate, then the only way i will only deal with the situation is legally.

Oh and just to add, that there is other developments which are currently pending which will further strengthen my case, but i am not at liberty to discuss them right now.

No doubt this idiotic bashing of me will continue as it has for the last 2 pages, but let it be said right now, that this does not bother me in the slightest. Everything has been printed out and is currently pending with higher powers.

1. Stop your lies about other sites and your reputation. ATM this is the only forum where we discussed about this matter.
2. These parts are from your gearbox.
3. I always told you that I can remove or state everywhere that we solved everything. This will even strengthen your reputation IMO. You are making mistakes on your own, so you will ruin your reputation with your own activity and the way you communicate and I will not help you here. This is your choice.
4. I just talked with a gearbox specialist about your box and he said, that it was dry inside at the moment of dismantling, so he have suspicion, that it was assembled with damaged parts just before packaging or wasn't filled with oil for long time, while you said you drained oil so that you can post it. So you knew everything about it or it was drained long time ago. Ofcourse this is difficult to measure, this is just a suspicion from a man who is building gearboxes for long time. And he commented about magnet which gathers metal particles inside the box, that this one can be possibly freshly cleaned. There were some particles but they there on the bottom of the magnet, while in all other gearboxes he have seen these metal particles sticks all way round the magnet and usually on top of the magnet. So this is also not easy to value, but I have suspicion that you knew what you are sending and what rubbish gearbox you are sending. Damaged seal and bad bearing also tells a lot. Look, Kevin, STOP your children games and start thinking like a man. In any way this will not end like you are acting now. I will not leave this. I promise.

I agree with this, tbh my personal opinion is that the buyer is correct here, its clear as crystal that the box sent wasent the one described. Just because this guy hasent been a member on here as long as the seller still doesnt mean everything the seller says is the truth ive been following this thread basically from the start.

My question is if the seller was lieing why would he kick up such a fuss if the gearbox wasent knackered

Theres proof the syncros were gone

Why cant you send him the new syncros for good will or refund him 80 pounds for some new carbon syncros?

Its nothing to do with me but i think it unfair for a few of you guys to take sides when the proof is there. Look at it from the buyer pount of veiw he payed good money for that box and all he ask is for you to send him what you promised, surly you can come to some sort of agreement, a rufund ect is out the question as it was sold as seen ect, but at least look at it from the buyers view.

Thank you for those who understand me and the situation I am in. Every part is from Weasel gearbox. I can take photo of every nut and bolts, as everything is there in one place, nothing is missing or changed.
