rust ?

alright folks , got a silver ej9 . got alot of rust coming thro under my back arches ? not noticeable but i noticed it alot when my car was on the ramp . any ideas how to get this fixed ? and cost wise ? im in scotland so any places or ideas welcome

hi mate if u want to get rid of it properly i would get the arches cut out and treated with rust cure and give the car a good waxoil after it if u dont have a huge budget u can get the rust sanded down, and spray over however within a few months it will be back.

you can drop me a pm after u get the work donw and i will be happy to wax oil the underside for u mate

Its gonna cost you a fair amount man, especially on your drivers side its quite bad. Best thing to do is take it to some body shops see wat they quote you

i went to garage last night . guy was saying exact same as u mate . i got a quote from glasgow for £350 per side ! which i thought is taking the p*ss lol ... but then got a price for £400 for both sides done ..

might get my car wrapped championship white or sprayed not sure if its worth it

try agmors coachworks in south street in glasgow mate 9592025 ask for andy say dan sent u he should give u quite a good dal its worth a shout anyway. i always say u get what u pay for, and dont want to be cuttinf corners with rust its a nightmare

another way you could get it done is cut the area out were the rust is & get metal pieces welded in & shaped & you're sorted.
