I am getting a rumble feeling on hard right hand turns on full suspension compression. Like I am going over rumble strips. Previously thought it was the koni 3011's being worn out so swapped out to JRZ which I know were in proper working order...that too had the same rumble strip feeling. So I raised up the suspension and the issue has almost gone away but the ride height it too high up now [rumble is there too on full hard compression].

Has anyone experienced this?
Its not worn hubs/bearing as it only happens when under full load.

Ive asked around and many seem to think it may be worn axles. Im using RSX Type S axles 36mm hubs, its been suggested that I try out EP3 axles which are a tad shorter over the type s, but they would have smaller hubs as well which are also weaker than the 36mm hubs.

Anywho thought I would ask here to see if anyone has and insight on this issue.

thank you in advance.

Larry

I have a similar problem just now when going round left handers.
Ive replaced every bush, ball joint, and steering arm. Still no joy.

The only thing ive not changed is the shaft. And i hope it isnt the shaft either as they cost alot from Raxles.

Il be swapping it out this month. Hopefully it gets rid of it.

Sounds like the axles, if your using some sort of combination oem parts on a swap car, on track it will likely not last long, especially with aggressive setup, been running DSS 2.9 on mine for nearly four years.

Thanks guys, I will be swapping out in the next 2 weeks latest and will update after.

It was not the axles after-all. Installed new ones and the rumbling is still there.
The rumbling does not go up or down in frequency with speed or RPM. Next step is opening up the transmission. DAMN!

Mechanic will be shimming the LSD in hopes to eliminate the issue.

I ended up replacing the whole transmission.
The LSD was the issue with the rumbling and vibration issue.
Problem is gone. :)

Whole transmission replacement was because made plans to
change the FD as well, and it just seemed to be the right thing to do.
