Would also like to know if anybody has installed them see if they noticed any difference, if you go onto spoon type1 blog they have installed a good few for costumers, so maybe be worth it.

I agree, i'd never even heard of these things until i saw this post!! :thanks:
usefull information for all in this thread and thats what ek9.org is about..

 would only consider doing that if i was for tracking my car even then i think i would just weld those joints up! still an interesting idea. :nice:

Spoon parts are spoon parts(in regards to the $$) but I cant see anyone coming up with something like this! Also sounds kinda interesting.. its one thing if they were just pushing lightend bolts but it sounds pretty valid.
I was going to get that tegiwa Harness bar but was thinking this could be an interesting expierment! Also if it isnt anything special.. its still a spoon part LOL.

I seem to remember posting a thread about this earlier this year, but the search function is not my friend I cannot find said thread.

What are they made of? Doesn't seem to say anything about them? Any machinist worth his salt ought to be able to churn these out in minutes if given the specs?

Seem very pricey :S

Question is , would they be worth it with a well built chassis such as the ek9 ?
I've seen signs of movements by these bolts on the mounting points on other subframes.. Might see about these next week...might have to spec it =P.

I can see what theyre saying it does make sense but £160+ for some ally spacers is just typical spoon lol

it doesnt matter how well built the chassis is the subframe still bolts up to the chasiss and this is where the "problem" as they say occurs
very good idea and price is hefty due to research etc that they have probably done

might be wroth a few people chipping in buying a set and getting the specs of them and having a machinist make some i work on a lathe and these will be peace of pie to churn out espcially on cnc

if you wanted to sort that out, 99% sure I could get somebody to make these much more economically.

Rigid Collar.com - Improve your Vehicles Handling - Honda | Nissan | Toyota | Mitsubishi | BMW | Volkswagon is the Spoon Sports Europe site for them, as If I remember correctly Spoon have RIGID COLLAR onlineshop

Spoon design and produce/buy them in Japan, they had the product advertised on their Super Taikyu S2000, didnt realise what it was or meant until someone explained it to me and that they had patented the idea.

youre right phone number is the same :thanks:

address is the same also as south street motors wellington, quick look on their site and its full of spoon parts,, only a couple miles up teh road from me i think ill go take a look in there soon!!

I think its amazing how spoon give their UK distribution to a company like this. Just looks like a normal garage
