Renting Garage Space?

Due to a move in jobs I'm going to be left without a workshop to work on my car which I'm coming to realise is going to suck!

Ive met quite a few blokes in the past who are renting small warehouses/garages that they share with other car orientated blokes to work on thier cars for not a lot of money.

Does anyone know how I would go about finding such a place? Or indeed if anyone has one that has space for me to work on my EG6 and a mate with his EP3 somewhere close to the M3, say between J3-J8 ??

I've often thought of doing this but never actually found anywhere. The Internet is just a waste of time I've found.

You really need to get a group of your own mates, and all chip in. Don't think I would want to leave my car/tools etc in a garage where other people are in and out at their leisure.

We had 4 guys in on our last unit, and it worked out at 80 a month each. You could try going into farms etc in the area and knocking the door. they might have a unit they don't use.

Great idea mate,done this myself when i built my turbo 9.i payed 70£ for a garage big enough to work on 1 car.looking for somthing a bit bigger now as im starting a bit of a collection to break.get a big one around about me for around 250-300£.good luck in finding one mate,may be worth trying gumtree.
