Just wondering has anyone here removed full interior dash and all just to repaint their interior?

Thinking about doing it :nerv:

Seems like a lot of work for pretty much no benefit. Unless its all rusted through? Although then it probably wouldn't be worth it.

Uncle removed everything inside, when doing a refresh build on the CR-X. Sprayed painted where he removed the sound-deadening and where it might rust. Also sprayed the firewall. Its worth doing to rust-proof the car :)

Interior removal is actually not that difficult, I have done it couple times, just take your time as plastic stuff can break easily. Re-fitting it all can be a pain tho... :)

I did it, but IMO only worth doing if you plan on keeping it striped or semi striped out.

I have all he plastics and seats removed only thing left to do would be take out the dash to do behind the fire wall, Whats your opinions on putting the interior a different color?

Fully stripping interior is not hard. It's like Lego but defo take note of what goes where. Depends what colour your car is you can do a contrasting colour I make it stand out

The car is Lightning Silver Metallic :

Thinking of going for a darker grey on the inside have all of the sound deadening and that removed

wouldnt bother taking out dash never ever gona be seen.

Just spray same colour not point going diff

Beautiful color, I would definately not paint it a different shade.
If you really want a different color, go for Cusco blue and a matching Cusco cage :)) Would look mental with the Lightning Silver.

Gone of the idea of redoing all of the inside now, Just going to get the outside resprayed as it is in need for a respray badly :)
