Updated my build thread but thought I'd find a wider audience here.
Basically after my trackday yesterday the engine started making alittle less oil pressure.
Then today alittle less again.
Decidedly drop the oil and found this on the sump plug along with jet black oil and a small drop in oil pressure.
The symptoms:
The oil pressure still reads a max of 80psi but it doesn't make that till 4krpm (used to be 3k) idle at 80c is nearly 10psi less than it normally is aswell. (Now 15-20psi instead of 25-30)
Oil is not shiney but you can see very small amount of glitter in the oil, oil is also jet black after around 150miles.
Engine runs normal and doesn't burn any oil at all, pulls like a train and revs cleanly as usual.
Flakes on the sump plug when run through fingers feel like a paste and is a shiney silver.
Anyone with any clue what the issue is?
