Hi having issues getting a Rear Fog setup for my ek.

I've found a DIY from Thusee a few years back but I'm still having difficulties understanding it.

Is there anyone that could give a complete step to step guide on this from the tools and pieces needed to actually going about putting it all together.

Or if anyone local could lend a hand would be appreciated.

Cheers
Ryan

Just looking to have it hang under bumper for mot and then remove it again.
Or would it be simpler to wire one into the lights themself?

Use the right hand side reverse light with a red bulb,
That's what most do

1. take power from one of the unused connection on the top row of the fuse box under the drivers dash. (important! need an inline fuse on this)
2. get an earth from the metal behind the dash.
3. run a two pair wire from the drivers dash area along the side of the car to the rear, there is a few grommets you can use to get the wire out to the rear crash bar area.
4. get your rear fog (a few £ on ebay for the square ones), it should come with a diagram so that you can attach your two pair to the earth and the feed. (secure your earth by the dash).
5. use a three way switch, again you should have a diagram with the switch then connect up your earth, live and your feed to the fog. (usually you have the feed to the fog in the middle and the earth and live at the outer crimps) I have drilled out a hole in one of the blanks beside were the wing mirror controls are and secure the switch there, but its up to you.

you'll need:
screwdrivers
crimping tool and a selection of crimps (can get away with some pliers to strip the wires and squeeze the crimps down)
fog light and associated cables and switch.
spanner to secure the rear fog (mine is bolted to one of the two points the rear bumper uses at the bottom).

Thanks massively for the help!! Any additional and I'll give a bell.

How do you get it to work for the reverse light mini?

Got it sorted there yesterday!
Thanks for the help.
Much easier than I thought when I first started.
