bit of a question for the guru's of this thread.
i've recently turned my EK4 into a track car. i've stripped it out so its about 950KG's (estimate) i've also fitted some whopping 225/50/15 R888's. I'm finding that it has so much grip the car squats and rubs the tyres into the upper arches. I've subsequently taken an angle grinder and a large hammper to them to allow movement (these will be sorted in due time)
i run a setup of 10KG on the front and 8KG on the rear on some meister zeta r coilovers. i want to run some hard ones and with a huge profile on the tyres i run i can get away with road use as the tyres will soak up alot of the bumps.
any advice on rates to use? i'm thinking 20 KG on the front and maybe a 14 or 16 on the rear???? any help?? just to add the car does run a EK9 rear arb and brace and the car isn't slammed at all. infact its alot higher than i'd like.
p.s. massive tyres give massive grip.
