Race car finally out of Hibernation

Did you manage to sort the idle problem out then?

The more clanky, loud and racey my car gets the more I love it, yours must be insane to drive :)

Yeah i did!

Replaced the lambda and leads, seemed to do the trick, idle is rock steady and the car is running fantastic, cheers for the advice

It's mental, the diff is hard work

Great work steven. Should be interesting to say the least but driving that to the ring is going to be crippling haha. Must feel like a new car now though with all the new additions and will be a weapon on track no doubt.

I have been wanting j's fenders for ages aswell but they are unjustifiably expensive new and there doesn't seem to be any second hand ones going about.

It's a J's rear wing i've been after, they are amazing!

Cheers again for the comments, will be sure to post up the graphs after mapping :win:

as usual this is stunning mate . will be up in aberdeen this week . will give you a phone see if your kicking about

Your car makes me want to spend all of my money on mine untill I go broke! Truelly inspirational, simply clean.

So want those wheels and brakes :nice:

Any advers effects from removing the PCV system or lower engine torque mounts??

Only affect of losing the torque mounts was it made the car 6kg lighter! With the innovative mounts they are not required, especially as i run the 75A track rated ones

Without the PCV the car feels a bit better, saves you venting the engine back into the inlet, so no oily vapours etc only clean air being pulled into the engine

:nice:

Always thought the b series were better ran with possetive crankcase pressure. Instead of vented to atmosphere. Was going to try it but was unsure if it would cause more oil loss into the breather bottle or seals to go.

The way i have done it is the same as what spoon do on their cars ;)

I have had zero issues since doing this, anything internally that requires lubrication on the engine will be lubricated by your engine oil, simple

Do itttttt!!!
