after all hassle and cost i went through very recently with these regretably gonna have to try and sell these as plan was to have my ek as 2nd car/toy (thus being able to have fairly raw and harsh car) but plans have changed this week
having to now keep my ek4 as my only/daily driven car, this suspension is wasted on daily car (uk roads) and is too harsh imho for daily driving so selling up, not even had chance to get on track with these
if you need to ask about these then not really for you but quantum are uk based company with office in japan so full support and servicing etc can be be done right here in u.k unlike many other coilover companies, quantum is simply up there with best suspension companies in the world, the u.k office primarily deals with motorsport while japan office deals with track/road suspension kits but as said u.k office provides full service etc
i bought these of member on here as needed bare components to send to quantum as could never afford new set (im not sure what set sells for new nowadays and wont bullshit people with this is how much they are new as irrelavant as no one would buy set new unless competing and/or very very well of but if you need to know ring quantum)
once received i had chat with owner of quantum and decided on what i wanted spec wise then sent of for full rebuild/service, i went for no changes as wasnt competing so didnt need more complex valving etc so full rebuild/service was carried out for me
so basically had like new set sent back to me in terms of internals/function etc, i managed to scuff top of 1 of the front shafts day i fitted them but has abolsute no affect on performance etc as due to where i did it only time that section enters chamber would be just before coilover bottomed out, they have covered no more than prob 900 miles
i will be providing a set of zeal springs with them but rate is unknown, stiff though and cant even take a guess at to what they are but ek9 they came of must have been tracked or roads in japan but must be pretty goodid imagine, ill also throw in oem set of ek9 top hats so you have full kit ready to bolt on and go, my plan was to order couple sets of custom springs and do some testing to find what suited car and me best
i dont have any detailed pics as some may/or may not be aware that i dont take pics of every bit i buy for car etc and show what "brand" ive got etc, thats just me, only pic i have is just before i sent them of to quantum
im not gonna put pic up of my car to show height etc as pointless, you could have you sills almost touching floor if you wanted with these but if its just looks your after again these are not for you and youd be wasting money
asking £950 collected but will post (will only send insured due to value of these), these are still on my car and will remain so until i have a sale, i dont even have spare set of suspension etc as sold to help foot bill for these, my loss will be someones gain
