Went over today and swapped the rocker cover and also chucked my manifold on

man on a mision,one remark though,your groundwire on the valvecover is doing diddly.
i see this soo often,and ahum.dont ask me how i know.

Always thought it went there mate lol mines on the one on the right hand side not the rocker cover washer btw
 
Had to get a subframe brace for the rear for the ek9 rear arb so went and ordered this one from the states. A mate of mine had one a few years on his Ek and I loved it and you don't see them very often.

Some more progress on the build finally got my bushes out my wishbones today so I set about painting up various brackets which I had removed

yeah that's not going to ground correctly because of the valve cover rubber gasket in the way. Hence why it's bolted to the head stud from factory as it's direct ground.

really need to take photos of the car of the progress ive made but for now some parts turned up, ive wirewheeled the rust down on the backend of the civic as there were some ugly patches of surface rust ive also put it in primer, going to clean the rest of the back end down next then underseal it ready also fitted my wishbones polybushed the front anti roll bar too! ill upload some photos when im at the garage next lol
