'In my case my current insurance which is (Prestige Keep Moving Insurance/Complete Cover Group), where @Tim@Prestige is part of, came back with a better quote, based on the same underwriter (ERS) at £660 so I cancelled the (XXX) policy and go back to Prestige/ CCG. Is always worth looking around and ask the brokers to persevere the underwriters, specially when they offer different quotes to different brokers. Just over £400 saved this year! Just tried to get a quote over the phone, awaiting a call back
 
Hi. Can you pm me your name and number please?
Never heard back from yourself so tried again to get a quote over the phone, had a 15min phonecall with someone who really didn’t appear to know what he was talking about and stuck me on hold every minute or so, I was then put on hold one last time and I just hung up.

Not impressed with the service there at all.

Well had a pretty weird experience trying to get a quote from Prestige.

Did a couple of usual questions, DOB, address, name etc.
Then was asked "what's the best price you've received so far?"
I replied with "£700 from Brentacre"

Instantly told "Sorry we can't compete with that sort of price for someone of your age"
That was that. Call ended.

Im 25 and been driving for 8 years, So not exactly young anymore.
I hadn't even told them what type of car it was yet!!

Glad I didn't waste any more of my time on the phone to be honest.
 
Doesn’t sound right at all! This is our bread and butter!

Thanks Simon. It’s been sorted now. The person you spoke to didn’t realise our Prestige Keep Moving scheme works differently to the norm.
