Potential EG K Swap from damaged EP3

Hi guys, I have came across a damaged EP3 and I want your thoughts as I don't know the value of damaged cars. Its an 04 with 78,000 and he wants £1300. the damage is front end, he mentions the airbags haven't deployed. And here's a picture

Now he mentions that the engine does run, but hopefully I will be going down to see it, with the front end damage done to it, should there be any checks that I should be specifically doing? I ask because I dont have the best mechanical knowledge. The plan is to get this, strip and sells everything else but the engine., id want that in my EG.

Dont suppose this guy hit 2 cows out of interest? Check for any damage underneath to the engine & box if the car left the road. I've a k20a2 for sale if your interested which would save you breaking that yok

There's cash to be made there if the engine isn't buggered.

Probably plenty of other things just depending on damage eg wishbones, shocks, driveshafts, mounts, steering rack, rear bumper, exhaust. Also parts like the dash centre console, carpets.

For a K swap do I need the ECU intact

You either need a jap ecu without an immobiliser or a kpro fitted to your/a standard ecu
