Hi guys,

So there is no right or wrong answer here for front lower control arms anyway...just down to preference? Just trying to understand which I should choose!!

I've talked to people that have used poly on their daily for years (7+) an no issues with wear/deforming...as long as they're greased but then others say they wear out/DEFORM??

Thanks

It really depends on what you need. For a daily, hardrace is very well received. They are like OEM with stiffer and harden rubber materials, so you don't have to grease them like the poly.

I'd get the complete 26pcs for a package deal.

I've used both and for a road car I will never use poly bushes again. Tbt it was on an old ford I used them but they squeak and wear out. These were the top of the range options at the time not cheap stuff.

Every bush/mount/ball joint/arm on my ek9 is now hardrace and it I can't fault it at all.

Only thing I would say is the front lower control arm bush is a bit of a pita. Best to use a hole cutter to cut the bush out then a hack saw to cut through the outer sleeve then knock it out. Imo anyway.

I have a mixture of hardrace and poly bushes on mine. I've always rated hardrace so wanted to try polys to see if I was actually missing anything- nope, still prefer hardrace.

my ek9 is has every suspension bush changed to hardrace except for the two large RTA bushes. its makes the car alot stiffer but also sharper to respond. Also i will add that it was total overkill as most of the bushes where still fine.
