pdapaul's YellowSpeed Time Attack EKK24 on ITBS

Well I suppose all good things must come to an end. It's with a little tear that the EK has gone to a new home. Whether I live to regret it I suppose only time will tell, but I know the new owner will get as much enjoyment as I did, so that's something.

An eg SiR has been purchased as a rolling shell, so the build begins again. Hopefully knowing what to do (and more importantly what NOT to do), it should be pretty straight forward, and this time I have a very clear vision of what I want it to end up like.

TBC.....:)

What is the cat checking in this picture lol.

Looking forward to seeing the eg being built! K series engine again?

Had my first really good look over the car and it's a little belter! Absolutely solid and exactly what I was looking for as a base. It's pretty much stripped anyway, so that's quite a bit of the work I don't have to get involved in. The final spec of the cage has been sent to the Msa for approval, so should be full steam ahead shortly :)

Looks great! Will be interesting to see the difference in the 2 cars! How did you lose the fuse boxes and dash loom? Did you use rywire or do it yourself?

Interesting cage design Paul, does the yellow section pick up the rear lca's and the toe adjusters? - like a proper rear subframe? Or am I looking at it wrong?

Cheers matey.
I've not started on the loom yet, but yes it will be a full custom interior loom. The only OEM bit will be the engine loom, and the rest I'll make. :)

No that's exactly it. The yellow portion will replace the OEM subframe completely. So the rear lca's will be attached to the yellow part ( new subframe)
