Paint blend/flattening/age'ing/correction proces after painting ?what your technique?

i don`t use it as an additive at all. Simply wipe clean the panels prior to spray. I don`t see how it could contaminate the gun, since you wash it with after each use.

Interesting reading here Pearce. After painting I flat with 1500 wet and dry to remove any orange peel or the odd foreign particle that adhered to the paint. Then I use G3 rubbing compound working with a damp polishing pad to remove the wet and dry marks. Then I tend to go over again with t-cut. Let that dry to a haze then buff. Seal the paint with a good quality polish e.g megs. I use a mix of 100ml laquer/ 100ml hardener / 50ml thinners. Apply 3 coats to the particular object in question - B & K series rocker covers. I'd leave the laquer at least 2-3 days before flatting if you air drying. Otherwise heat lamps will speed up the drying time. Thanks, Paul Spooner Productions

Razor could be disaster, plus doesn`t save you the hassle of polishing in the end. Farecla, car system also have quality products. Here we use water base paint, so we use different models of devilbiss, but still is class company and can`t go wrong with any of their products.
