Ah no way that was you! You should've said!!
I didn't bother trying to go on again after they said I had to come back with proof, but they wanted to see mot/tax/insurance etc as they were convinced it wasn't road legal so not allowed on the tourist day. Got turned away so many times for different things tbh haha

I can't understand why people would make the trip over just for the ring after doing Spa! I found the ring pretty daunting not knowing where I was going, and it's too long to get to know in a few laps, and it just felt like a B road. Spa is something else though, just amazing! So fast and flowing and some real fun things to play with there. I'd probably only do the ring again for a track day there, but Spa is definitely the one for me over the ring!
 
Looks like we need to check out spa!
I agree the marshals at the ring seriously take the P, just plain stupid.
I can imagine you feeling daunted by the track it really is intimidating and scary, we spoke to some of the locals who said you need at least 20 odd laps till you can work out which direction to go in! We are fortunate we have been 3 times now but still scares the hell out of us.
Glad you had a awesome weekend, spa then the ring and plenty more to come!
 
You went to the ring at the wrong time really. Far too busy.
Only having 2 laps you didn't really get a chance with the track. It is a flowing track once your confident on the loud pedal.
 
Still game for an ek9.org ring trip or what?
 
Weather's improving this time of year - i normally tie it in with a trip to Spa if they are dates available.
 
Never been to spa. Sure I'd love it but the ring is where it's at for me!
