but it only make noise when Im going for a short drive, when I drove it far, the noise is gone..... so should I change my brake pads again or its just normal??

I have a similar problem. My car has been off the road for two months and I got back on the road yesterday. However every time i brake, I get a horrible scraping noise! I had someone to look at the car last night and he done some check on the ecu, when he did this the abs light gave 16 flashes. Could this be the problem and does anyone know what it means?
Thanks

its a lubricant that you put on the back of the pads and it greatly reduces noise, next time you have your brakes done ask your mechanic if he uses it, the stuff is really cheap like $1...
