New Phillips x-treme +80% bulbs review, AMAZING!!

Also consider the OSRAM Nightbreakers, they are just a tad brighter than teh phillips bulbs and a bit cheaper.

Had these on my car for 6 months now, I have the OEM look ones (not white like HID) and there great ! Noticable improvment on both beams.

Would recomend to anyone who wants brighter lights but either doen't want the white/blue look or cant justify £100 on HID's.

just put these on my car also and they are excellent!! got a good deal on free phillips side lights also! :)

phillips ftw. they came out with an hid kit aswell found on ebay definately trying the hid's

those bulbs what color are they rated ? 4000k?

not sure but that sounds about right, they are near OEM color just brighter, they still have a bit of yellow to them but not as much as OEM bulbs...

Has anyone compared these to PIAA Extreme white plus bulbs?

PIAA Corporation USA - H4 Xtreme White Plus

I bought those ones a while ago, and paired with my fog lights I can see the entire road for a good distance at night. There by far the best bulbs I have used.

My headlights are also really clean to, that helps.

I've tried Philips Extreme and Osram Night Braker , both died after 4 week's , now i have PIAA xtreme white plus since march this year and they are doing a great job, also have Piaa H3 fited in fog light's.

iv used the piaa xtreme white and they are good but very expensive around £90 and one blew after 2 weeks but i got in touch with the piaa distributer and got a new set free and they have been in for years now still got a spare. But when fitting bulbs you should wear rubber gloves and give them a wipe down with cloth before turning them on as they can fail

Yeah, the reason why bulbs fail prematurely is probably because they were touched on the glass part. It says on most packages to handle them carefully.

Great set of bulbs!! Have them for 3 months and have nothing to complain about! Better then the Blue Vision I had in before!

Hi,
I really like the X-treme Powered Philips and was thinking of getting a pair. Is the offer o 10% off still on for Ek9.org members? And how do I purchase them please?
Thanks,
Jerry.

Philips Bluevision Ultra is the best if you want White and more light :nice:

My dad works in Philips, so I tried out all the bulbs :D
