Much like the Libra thread, I've bought this to replace the civic:

Its an S1 Exige, witha Honda K20. 235bhp.

Wow, now thats a worthy replacement!!

Health to enjoy

Lovely car, liking the colour!

Wow ! Very nice motor , a drivers car , and with a amazing engine, very jello I am .
Enjoy mate .

Thanks guys, 780kg ish.

It looks even more mad in the flesh. Hard to get into mind!

By the way, though the engine is "235bhp" its lifeless and dull compared to my b18c.
I never expected this.

I get what your saying, the b series is bonkers and you work for the power,
750ish kg with that power is also bonkers :nerv::drive:

Very nice John,
I drove a s2 exige at silverstone and loved it, would quite like to own one one day

That's strange to hear. I'd expect it to be the other way round.?
I assume it's been tuned to see 235hp. Perhaps they've not tuned the inlet cam properly, hence it feeling abit dull.

I think its just because my B18C had crazy Toda C cams, light flywheel. The K is fast but only in Vtec.

235 is just a map and a very free flowing exhaust + manifold.

Yeah you'd expect the K20 to pick up alot better in the midrange with the variable intake cam. Makes me think they've not tuned it properly.
It should feel pretty urgent if my brothers ep3 is anything to go by.

The tune must not be right

My k20 feels like it has twice the torque of my B18c

The other thing it could be is that the Exige is just like my old vx220s inside, and the turbo had 312lbft of torque...the SC about 230lbft.

Will get it dyno'd.

Very cool man sry for the nube question but is the power goin to the rear wheels or front wheels? Rear wheel be class

Rear. Technically they are mid engined. The inlet manifold sits a couple of inches behind your left shoulder.

On paper its 3.8 to 60 and 9.5 to 100.

Yeah i think you may have something to gain in the midrange with a map tweak.
What ecu us it on? Hondata?
