Hi Guys,

I've been here for a while now and I think it is time to show my build as the forum and people here were very helpful. I live in Bulgaria and it was challenge to bring the car to this point. So the car is facelift EJ9 but only the shell left from this car. Almost everything is changed.

Current spec:

Engine is 96' JDM B18C with:
CP Pistons with 12:5 compression ratio
Stock rods
SPEC stage 3 clutch with lightweight flywheel
Skunk2 Pro2 camshafts
Skunk2 Pro valvetrain
Skunk2 Adjustable cam gears
Hytech replica header
Stock intake for the moment
P28 ECU with Hondata S300

Gearbox:
Standard 96' DC2 gearbox

Suspension:
Tein Type Flex coilovers
Buddy club Front and Rear camber arms
DC2 rear anti roll bar with custom home made brace
Standard front anti roll bar 22mm

Wheels and Brakes:
OZ racing 15" with Yokohama Advan AD08R Tires
96' DC2 rear disc conversion keeping the 4x100 PCD
Standard 262mm Front disc with Ferodo Racing DC2500 pads
Goodridge brake lines

Interior (soon to be thrown out):
Stock except EK9 carpet and EK9 doorcards

Exterior:
Full EK9 kit (wing, lips, grill etc.)

It was long project so I will let the pictures speak for themselves:

I will skip the part with adding the EK9 bits to her as it was long ago and I can't find proper pics :angry2:

Back in the day with mini me D14Z2 engine

All parts for the engine and suspension collected:

Engine build:

Ready to start with stock header:

After finishing with engine it was time to take care of the suspension. I don't have pics of the whole process of chaning camber arms and the rear disk conversion.

Here it is a pic of the finished rear brace:

Some pics from the first trackday for this year:

Some other Hondas on the track:

The quickest one on the track that weekend

Future plans are to change the exhaust to 2.5" piping with no cats or anything else only a pipe to the back of the car. After that I will map the car to the current setup and after we see what are the results will start thinking about changing the intake to put some more bhp. At this point the brakes are fine with these pads may be when they are finish I will replace the front breaks to 282 mm disk and calipers with the same pads. Also I'm thinking of changing all bushing but this is not my priority now.

Very nice build bud, the car has came along way. Well done :nice:

So at this moment you don't have any dyno graph? I'm curious what does it shows :)

The car isn't mapped yet. I have to change the exhaust first. But the good thing is that in my country there aren't much restrictions and I can put a straight pipe from header to the back of the car.

It's your dream to own a civic?

Well if you put it that way, not exactly. But I've always wanted to build a track prepared EK9 and as it is very hard and expensive to get one in my country, so I've decided to go with regular civic.
